Organizations praise review, but seek more regulatory relief

After a four-month study, federal agencies have released plans on eliminating some redundant, outdated or inconsistent rules. Business associations, given to lamenting excessive regulation as the bête noire of their existence, are welcoming the Obama administration’s progress in eliminating some redundant federal rules—and pressing for more.
